Simple Strawberry Sorbet

Local strawberries are fresh, juicy and delicious, not to mention inexpensive. Use local strawberries to create this version of a simple breakfast or treat.

2c frozen strawberries

3/4c almond milk

1/4-1/2c water

1/8t vanilla extract (opt)

Add strawberries and almond milk to blender. Blend on low speed setting. Increase to full speed for about 10 seconds. Stop blender, push berries down. Continue blending as necessary. Add water in small amounts and blend til it reaches a sorbet consistency. Serve immediately or freeze to eat later.
